🌏 Global Intangible Heritage ambassadors

Hosted by / Organized by: VANK (Voluntary Agency Network of Korea), ICHCAP (UNESCO International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region)

 

Purpose of the program: Promote awareness of the value and diversity of intangible cultural heritage, highlight Asia-Pacific traditions globally, and strengthen digital cultural diplomacy skills through creative content development.

Program Activities: Engage in cultural exchange on Asia-Pacific intangible heritage, create digital content, propose preservation policies, and lead global campaigns to raise awareness and support UNESCO ICHCAP initiatives.

🇰🇷 Global National Heritage Ambassadors

Hosted by / Organized by: VANK (Voluntary Agency Network of Korea), Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea

Purpose of the program: Highlight the significance of Korea’s tangible and intangible heritage, counter cultural distortions, and promote global citizenship through sustainable preservation efforts.

Program Activities: Introduce Korean and global heritage—such as food, cultural sites, and traditions—compare their similarities and differences, and share their value through digital content. Encourage youth to explore and promote their own national heritage while fostering cross-cultural understanding.

👑 Global Royal Palaces and Tombs Ambassadors

Hosted by / Organized by: VANK (Voluntary Agency Network of Korea), Royal Palaces and Tombs Center, Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea


Purpose of the program: Raise global awareness of the historical and cultural significance of Korea’s royal palaces and tombs, promote their global appeal, and develop participants’ skills as digital citizen diplomats. The program also encourages correcting misinformation about these heritage sites in foreign media.

Program Activities: Engage youth around the world in cultural exchange, create and share digital content on Korea’s royal palaces and tombs, propose policy ideas for global outreach, and organize international campaigns while correcting false or biased information in global sources.
