Interested in Korea--a country with a history of resilience, cultural preservation and intellectual tradition--as a linguistics student, Milica applied for the internship program. During her time at VANK, she created content to promote Korea’s history, culture, and tourism, while also working on projects to correct historical misconceptions about Korea and introduce its contributions to the world. She also engaged in campaigns and discussions to introduce the history and heritage of Serbia. Milica shared that the VANK internship is a truly valuable opportunity for international students to learn not only about Korea, but also reflect on your country's history and how relevant narratives are shared throughout the world.
What does VANK Mean to me?
“Responsibility, truth, and connection. A place where history, language and global awareness come together. A reminder that knowledge has the power to change perspectives and make people grow.”
