Yurim's most outstanding contribution was helping build VANK’s metaverse space, which is now used for launching various initiatives. She also wrote a global petition to promote awareness that Jikji is the world's oldest extant book printed with metal movable type. In addition, she sent a correction letter to NASA regarding the mislabeling of the East Sea as the Sea of Japan on their official website, and translated numerous VANK contents into English — including celebrity participation videos for the Taekwondo Challenge, a campaign to promote Taekwondo worldwide.
