Bryan McAniff led a petition and campaign advocating for the use of the term “Makgeolli” instead of “Korean Rice Wine” to refer to Korea’s traditional liquor. He also worked on promoting Korea’s development in American textbooks and raising awareness of Jikji, the world’s oldest extant book printed with metal movable type from Korea.
